SONARAY™ LED Lighting Teams up with Dingo, S.A. to Provide Exceptional Lighting for Port of Cristóbal in Panama

A quantity of sixty SONARAY 520-watt Delta Flood Lights were recently installed at Port of Cristóbal in Colon, Panama.  The high efficacy flood lights were chosen because of their exceptional lumen output, anti-corrosive capabilities, and ability to withstand the rugged environment at the port.

Dingo, S.A., a respected electrical supplier for the LAT geography worked with SONARAY™ on the sale and installation of the fixtures.

The FL-3520 Delta Flood Lights carry an IP65 rating so they are built to withstand salt spray and other elements that are part of the shipping environment.  According to Jose Diaz, LAT Sales Manager for SONARAY™: “The port was most impressed with the rugged design of the flood lights and the fact that the 520-watt model is rated to produce nearly 60,000 lumens of light output."

Ruggedness, long-life, and high output were the three most important attributes the port required.  The FL-3520 met all of those requirements and provided a cost-effective solution since the LED lighting will not only be brighter and last longer, but use much less energy.
